Troy Boston Welcomes Its South End Neighbors + Friends

In classic Gerding Edlen Style, with craft shandies in hand, and city views for miles, Korn Design celebrated alongside Gerding Edlen friends at the swish Opening Party for Troy Boston on September 9, 2015. Dubbed one of the brightest stars of the “constructionpalooza” that’s transforming the South End, Troy Boston showed off its modern classic sensibilities with a city-styled celebration featuring food + drink from Chef Ming Tsai in the Penthouse, a DJ-driven Dance Party on the Pool Deck and unforgettable views of the Boston cityscape from the 20th Floor Roof Deck. Weaving together this magical night was (not surprisingly) the talented Lynne Kortnehaus of Boston’s own Kortenhaus Communications. Viewings + tours of the model units proved that beauty is more than skin deep here: served by a friendly, attuned staff, layouts are both amenity-rich and eco savvy.  A vibrant collection of public art by local Boston and South End artists was curated and commissioned by Lynne Kortenhaus and is infused from top right down to the wall mural in the tower bike room which hosts the first commissioned piece by the newly anointed Youth Design Studio. Youth Design is one of Troy Boston’s South End community partners which makes its founder, Denise Korn, smile wide. Stay tuned for the next collaboration on the Boston skyline between Gerding Edlen and Korn Design next year!
