Steuben’s

Long-time client and Denver restaurateur Josh Wolkon approached us to help him launch his newest concept: a fun, casual restaurant in an old car repair shop featuring creative interpretations of comfort food. The name comes from a previous restaurant owned by the same family three generations ago, and the drink menu is a recreation of the original. The graphics from the old drink menu also appear inside the matchbook and as a super-graphic by the restrooms.

The identity is inspired by the vernacular of old signage and car-related graphics. Our work included a line of fun t-shirts and, in 2010, expansion to a fun-loving food truck featuring menu favorites and affectionately named Pearl. Since its opening in 2006, Steuben’s has been a highly popular and favorably reviewed restaurant that continues to draw the crowds and earn accolades.
