Not Your Average Joe’s, a family of restaurants that serve fresh food in a comfortable environment, has seen excellent growth since its first location opened in 1994. The client faced two significant challenges: their road-side signage was difficult to read, and their existing identity didn’t clearly let you know that they were a restaurant.
Korn Design developed a new brand strategy and positioning for Not Your Average Joe’s that served as the foundation for effective growth and penetration of the market place. The new visual identity is inspired by the founder’s passion for gourmet cooking using only the freshest ingredients. The system addresses shortcomings of the previous identity by offering a variety of logos that enhanced readability, from the exterior signage to interior promotions and menus. The system was then expanded to email campaigns, monthly promotions and an innovative, location-driven website that has increased reservations and on-line orders. The end result was a complete package that greatly enhances and complements the dining experience.
